275. I HOPE YOU ALL READ THIS....I DONT HOW message ALL!

I have received a myspace message dated 6/10 at 330PM. Christina wants to come home...and that she loves and missing me so much. Now I have a new fear...so many things going through my mind...what's gonna happen when she tells these people she wants to come home??? or is really her writing..??? She didn't give me any details as to where she is or how she utilized the internet...but, i spoke with the Missing / Exploited children folks...they gave me instructions on what to do...

I let her know...not trust anyone in that household..cause obviously they are not your typical people otherwise they would have contacted the authorities already...Dear Lord in heaven...please give my daughter the strength and guidance to take the right steps when reaching out for help. I don't want them to hurt her...because she is trying to leave. I will keep you posted.

ty. It was 9 years ago (she was 14). First time she ran, I called Center for Missing and Exploited Children, friends walked the riverbank checking under bushes :cry: (THAT was the hardest part), didn't sleep for 3 days until she turned up. The second time, I was angry, which made it easier. By the time I was done with her, we never had another lick of trouble. And, she has turned into a fine young woman, I am proud to say.

I hope Rosalie and Christina reunite very soon. It is such a trying ordeal to go through :hug:

I am so glad you received instructions from Missing Exploited children. I wonder if they can trace the ISP from the message left on myspace. There is a software program that some people use on myspace so that they can see who is leaving them messages via the ISPs.

Does anyone know what that program is called?

What about the churches in the area? Could they be of help in returning her to her mother? Money for travel, getting her transport, etc...? Just asking, esp since she obviously can't talk to the people with whom she is living. I'm thinking here of the old sanctuary tradition.

I'm so glad to hear that this mother was able to establish contact. I was away for the weekend and while I was enjoying myself, I did wonder what was going on.

That child is a mere baby. I'm sure she believes she's not, but she is. She has no idea what the real out there does to girls like her. Now there's a very good chance she will never find out. I don't want to get detailed, but incidents like this are very personal to me; they hit home.
