Ever wonder about the politics of Lemony Snicket, perchance?
He's the author of "A Series of Unfortunate Events," and one of his characters Sunny Baudelaire, who is an infant who speaks in random words that only her siblings understand. The author then translates for the reader. For instance, she might say something like "Sappho!" which, the author explains, means something like "That's a wonderful poem!"

In the tenth book, published in 2003, Sunny utters the word "BUSHENEY" to the main villain, and Lemony Snicket translates that Busheney means something like ""You're an evil man with no concern for other people."

5. Too funny!
Did you choose that name before reading my post, or was there any connection on the timing there? That's a great coincidence!

Oh yeah, and welcome to DU! :hi:

2. He's really Daniel Handler
As his real adult self, he writes novels for grown-ups. He also wrote the liner notes for "69 Love Songs" by the Magnetic Fields, or should I say, he did the interview with Stephin Merritt. Good stuff.

4. Yeah, but that would have made my post too long.
And I figured someone would mention it in one of the followups. Thanks for doing so! :hi:
