but I have no independent proof of that.
What don't they want to carry? What is the Friday night news dump.

29. Because of professional and intellectual laziness, and the fact that they merely let the Guardian
and the Independent break the news and perform the analysis from London, then wait a week for the US bloggers to do more analysis, and then deign to realize it meets "news."
Would not a "real" news person be in Arbil and Ankara, interviewing everyone from the Turkish PM and Defense Minister, their counter parts in Iraqi Kurdistan and locating PKK contacts for interviews?
Why should they bother their beautiful minds, when the government announces all the news we need to know, or else PR spokespersons?
What passes for "news" these days are either governmental talking points and a smathering of opposition counter pre-approved messages -- a mere chronicle, not any substantial analysis or in depth reporting.
Do the people wish to have to think and to vett sources or had they rather be spared the ordeal by CNN, Fox, and others of their ilk? Evidently, as it is, for practical purposes a horizontal integration of the corporations, the government and the MSM. How terrific! What is good for GE is good for CBS is good for the Republican Caucuses and a significant portionn of the Democratic.
