Sweet JEEzus! When does the Terror! Terror! 24/7 Stop!?!!?
I am so sick of the endless fear mongering on the tv tubes. Over and over, with the most skimpy connections to real danger--they stoke the imaginary fires.

Does this crap really sell products? Are we being directed not to pay attention to 20 Scooter entencing, b) testimony on various things?

Do they just want to make us feel better off than if we were in Iraq?

those were rhetorical questions.

And I would turn it off, but it's part o my job to "monitor" the news.

And it kinda sucks.

Thank goodness I can bitch about it on DU! I am sure you all are thrilled!

now back to our normal programming...

Ferar Fear Terror terror Buy Buy Buy.

1. I think they have a terror flow chart
I'd like to see how they have it all planned out for the elections. You can be sure there will be much hype.

5. Turning off the TV isn't going...
Turning off the TV isn't going to save your ass when the shit hits the fan. There are people who want to kill us no matter what we think of Bush. Anybody who thinks Bush or the Republicans are responsible for the Middle East situation doesn't know much about history. This on again/off again battle has been going on for over a thousand years. Kind of hard to blame Bush for that.

9. The fire in the Middle East may have been burning before Bush but he sure as hell threw gas on that
fire.

Have a nice stay.

Anybody who thinks Bush and the Republicans are not responsible for the Middle East situation doesn't know much about history.

They fucked it up big-time by attacking and occupying Iraq. The grim results of that idiotic endeavor were totally predictable, and in fact, were predicted here and elswhere at great length.

Even a brief glance at the history of the region should have suggested to the neo-con dim-wits that they could be getting in over their heads.

Welcome to DU!
