Dean hires Kerry '04 guru to lead DNC's opposition research for '08
The Chairman put Kerry veteran Michael Gehrke in charge of opposition research for '08.

"The Chairman has a unique appreciation of how tough he is and how critical he is to the effort."

1. Nice that Dean is reaching out to those who defeated him....
As the article says, Gehrke worked for Kerry during the primaries and caught Dean in several mistatements.

3. Dean and Kerry formed a pretty solid relationship and show mutual respect
for each other. Dean became one of Kerry's most trusted fill-in spokespeople on the campaign trail, along with Cleland and Clark.
