1. Yeah they're right in the press release, he's all about"promoting equality"
Edited on Thu Feb-01-07 05:36 PM by Adenoid_Hynkel
"some of his best friends are Halfricans"

and nominating the guy who said of the middle east "fine, just blow the place up" for the nobel PEACE prize

that's hilarious

This is from MarkLevin's group. He's that guy who pals around with Hannity who's debting tactic amounts to screaming at people to shut up in his annoying nail-on-a-chalkboard nasally voice

2. you've got to be kidding me!
OMG! How can such a hatemonger-er possibly be nominated for a PEACE prize? Do you think that they felt that they had to nominate one of their own because of Al's (rightful) nomination?

8. The truly funny thing is they CAN'T nominate him!!
They might think they can nominate him, but no dipshit legal organization headed by Levin is able to nominate ANYONE to the Nobel Committee. A quick Google search revealed this site;

http://nobelprize.org/nomination/peace/
<snip>
Qualified Nominators – The Nobel Peace Prize
The right to submit proposals for the Nobel Peace Prize, based on the principle of competence and universality, shall by statute be enjoyed by:

1. Members of national assemblies and governments of states;
2. Members of international courts;
3. University rectors; professors of social sciences, history, philosophy, law and theology; directors of peace research institutes and foreign policy institutes;
4. Persons who have been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize;
5. Board members of organizations who have been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize;
6. Active and former members of the Norwegian Nobel Committee; (proposals by members of the Committee to be submitted no later than at the first meeting of the Committee after February 1) and
7. Former advisers appointed by the Norwegian Nobel Institute.

The Nobel Peace Prize may also be awarded to institutions and associations.<snip>

Hmmmm funny it doesnt say "Right wing nutcases who consider themselves grandiose enough to nominate other right wing nutcases."

9. Hmmm. If that's the case expect a nomination committee from
some place like Bob Jones, Hillsdale College, Liberty University or Regent University sometime soon.

6. can't think of a more deserving fellow...
how he transcends partisanship to appeal to the best in us, one and all. I think of his "moving" tribute to Michael J Fox. Given his relationship with Daryn Kagen, I would second the nomination for a no belle piece prize.
