20. I consider Hillary a moderate. She would not improve the medicare prescription drug junk benefit.
I will not vote for Hillary here in New York. Edwards gets my vote. I consider it about time we had a Southernor who DOESN'T harrangue welfare beneficiaries, social security beneficiaries, the poor, and those on unemployment insurance and actually cares about such people.

The REPUBLIKLAN Party has plenty of stupid middle class bigots that their leaders have to cater to and bash those not as wealthy as they.

42. Why another southerner?
We've had Clinton, Carter, the Bushes.

I'd be happy to have the rest of the country represented again.

26. As much as I don't want to admit it, I think Hillary won...
Her and Obama are close. I was disappointed with Edwards to be honest - and he's my guy right now (holding out for Gore). Kucinich had some great answers as well.

Richardson was awful...

not that I expected to be after the ugly little vote they all cast (sans Obama).

6. I don't think Obama did well at all
Did we watch the same debate? I saw him stuttering, using fillers, using stock phrases, looking a bit confused.

Not professional at all. I think he doesn't have the experience to debate adequately. Is this the guy you want to see debate Mittens or Thompson? He just seems blank and inexperienced.

he seemed to do a lot better this time than last time.

But I agree, he's not the one I want debating the Republican nominee.

Edited on Sun Jun-03-07 08:11 PM by ElizabethDC
I don't think Obama is ready for the top job (or the general election campaign), that's one of the reasons I'm supporting someone else.

But you always talk about how great Obama does, obviously because you support him. It's the same thing.

and much better than last time. (Really! I did! You can look it up!) I just think he has some growing to do, that's all. I think that, one day, Obama will be a great president.

50. I liked that Obama was the first one
to challange Wolf on the stupid questions and distractions, when he said that a question like "should we make English our official language". Hit it right when he said this is such a distraction and is a grave disservice to the voters. Of course then Hilery chimes in later challanging other questions, but Obama set the lead several times.

Hillary: Things were better under Bill, vote for me.

Hillary: ''I believe we are safer than we were.'' Really?

Obama, couldn't get a rise out of the crowd.

Richardson's answers were off.

Biden screamed too much and seems prepared to give up on Iraq until 2009

22. The biggest losers of the night were Richardson and Kucinich, imo
Richardson, for the second debate in a row, was unimpressive and made a rather notable faux pas when he accidently referred to that woman's son as her "husband". Kucinich really blew it with that Osama anwser.

33. I Agree With You. I Thought Hillary Did Great, I Thought Both Edwards And Obama Did Pretty Good Too
I think Gravel provides much needed counter balance, though obviously he'll never be taken seriously, I thought Biden actually had some really good answers and I wish I could trust him more, cause I actually kinda liked him tonight, I thought Dodd did ok but seems like he's perfect as a senator but not someone that could be president, I thought richardson fell on his face and I thought kucinich, though some of his answers were ok, overall isn't even close to being presidential material. And his Osama comment was the worst answer I've heard in any debate ever I think.
