1. Hey! Come on, man! They got pretty steamed!
There was serious finger-wagging going on, let me tell you! And I heard one of the House Democrats say some pretty harsh words - I'm not kidding!

Let that be a lesson to the miscreants!

23. One even shocked everyone by stamping his foot in such a way
as to imply what some would call a perturbed manner.

It was a tense moment followed by an extremely long awkward silence that made everyone feel really uncomfortable.

7. I am more upset at the lack of accountability than I am at the war funding bill.
The war funding vote was a one time deal (supposedly), the total lack of accountability is the death knell of America...

8. Which subpoenas are you referring?
Edited on Fri Jun-01-07 08:38 AM by blogslut
Some have been approved but not issued, like the one for Karl Rove. Condi is indeed ignoring her issued subpoena.

13. Well
My feeling is that one can't ignore a subpoena that hasn't been issued. Don't get me wrong. As I siad, Condi is trying to ignore hers. I think the DOJ is still holding out on submitting complete evidence that I believe was issued for in subpoena. And I'm not sure if the RNC has turned over their emails and records. There's a bunch of ignoring on already issued subpoenas. this much is true.

14. You listed more that have been ignored but didn't list any that have been obeyed
Why is that? Is it possible that you can't come up with any?

15. "Condi is trying to ignore hers"
Condi is succeeding in ignoring hers and our 'opposition party' is trying to discover just how far they can work their thumbs up their collective butts on her refusal to submit to their authority.

9. Personally I think they went in the hopper to take a shit,
got shit on their hands, then got shit on their clothes while trying to clean it off their hands, then smeared the shit all over their clothes while trying to clean it, then washed their clothes ignoring the instructions, ruined their clothes because they didn't read the care instructions first, then had to go to the store to buy new clothes...........

by that time it was forgotten...wait, what was it I was talking about?

:banghead:

Everyone kept saying "just wait until the Dems have subpoena power."
What good are subpoenas if they can be ignored?

I'm so glad we have an opposition party that knows how to FIGHT!

Oh wait. We don't.
