The Vast Unapologetic Rightwing Treason Apologists, No Corrections or Retractions Necessary...

Rightwing Mainstream Media, Blogosphere Refuse to Retract Assertions That 'Plame was Not Covert'

And they say there's not a vast rightwing conspiracy?

Despite myriad evidence for years, Valerie Plame's own sworn testimony to Congress, the admission by CIA Director Gen. Michael Hayden, and a court-filing last Friday which included an employment record from the CIA stating that she was, in fact, covert at the time she was outed by members of the Bush Administration, the sorry bunch of wingnut operatives who control the mainstream media, and a huge chunk of the blogosphere, refuse to admit they were simply wrong from the get-go. Period.

The astounding list of no-uncertain-terms statements by these unrepentant reality-challenged, treason-apologists -- at top mainstream media outlets -- go uncorrected and unretracted to this day...

2. Absolutely GD right!

Neocons and their apologists admit NOTHING! It'll probably be found to be due to a flaw in their DNA someday. Meanwhile, the corporate media conspicuously ignore the truth - even when it's waved under their collective noses.

3. it is an enhancement of Nazi propoganda machine
Tell only big lies, ignore the little ones.
Repeat them without shame, loudly, and often.
Claim that those who dare disagree are wrong and have an "agenda".
Repeat.

4. More of my questions still unanswered
Edited on Thu May-31-07 12:21 PM by BOSSHOG
- If she were not covert, just a desk jockey, why did she have to be "outed?"
- If there were no underlying crimes why did scotter HAVE to lie?
- And how do members of the right wing disinformation machine know whether she was covert or not? My neighbor could be an undercover CIA agent and I wouldn't know.

9. Your forget...

...The rightwing disinfo machine knows everything. Even when they don't. And in either case, it's usually repeated verbatim by the mainstream, supposedly not-rightwing, media.

Even while the jury was literally out in the Libby case, WaPo allowed Toensing to run an article in their pages claiming once again, despite all of the evidence to the contrary, that Plame was not covert.

6. I think it builds on their immature world view
The idea that one of their infallible heroes could be wrong in one thing, they could be wrong in other things. Even in the face of an absolute factual contradiction they hold firm and resolute. And wrong as all get out, but that can be reduced to a matter of opinion.

8. Brownshirt mentality.
It is never a crime if it furthers the aims of the party.

They are loyal to their party, not their Nation.

Large numbers of gullible people is the downfall of any democracy. Just like Ben Franklin warned.

7. It's not a conspiracy
At least, not in the technical sense, it's not as formal as that. It's more like a commonly understood aim and set of assumptions. The RNC doesn't have to call up, say, Rush Limbaugh and tell him what to say. They just have to put out their talking points in the certain knowledge that they will be picked up by the usual suspects.
