Senator Diane Feinstein's recently released "Ballot Integrity Act of
2007" is co-sponsored by Senators Dodd, Sanders, Inouye, Obama, Brown,
Leahy, Menendez, Kennedy, and Clinton (a powerful group so that this
bill probably has more standing than Nelson's bill which more closely
mirrors Representative Rush Holt's HR811 "Voter Confidence and
Increased Accessibility Act of 2007".)

1. I'm fading, so i'll book mark it for later. Vote integrity activists should feel

very good that what was once smeared as a "conspiracy theory" by Peter Jennings is now being taken seriously by such a powerful group of lawmakers. Hopefully they get it, get it right, and the bill actually addresses the concerns of the election integrity community.

6. Hmm, after reading the analysis, I see that Feinstien still doesn't get it, doesn't

get it right, and is just promoting a catchy title for a bill which doesn't address the concerns of the election integrity community.

I think I'll write her an e-mail and tell her. Somebody should.
