That young man looked like he wanted to cry, not from the supposed spitting but just in general. I suspect that he is being used. Even Colmes had to ask him-how is all of this only happening to you?

It reminds me of the a-hole in WV from the '04 campaign who claimed his daughter was pushed or shoved by a Kerry supporter when it turns out that this is the THIRD time something like this had happened to the guy (name?) and his friend the reporter just always happens to be around but doesn't actually see it.

I feel sorry for him too. But he is delusional. His story went from I got spit on to I was chased with clubs. Then last night on youtube someone who said they were him claimed that marchers were pointing guns at him. His story just grows by the day.

Probably so. You know he supposedly got death threats last year and Sean Hannity gave him an ipod. So I guess since he got spit on, there is probably a large screen TV on its way to his house now.

Hooray! I have been praying for publicity.

Someone call him and tell him to look at the videos (there are a ton on youtube) and photographs and there was too much distance between the marchers and the freepers for any spit (unless it was spit on steroids) to reach that guy in the wheelchair. Oh and BTW, that guy had a bullhorn and was taunting the marchers. Not that that would justify spitting at him, but he wasn't exactly sitting there minding his manners.
