Notice how the media has been showing Independents' approval of Obama slipping...
Edited on Sat Nov-28-09 07:58 PM by jenmito
but for Obama's probable increase of troops to Afghanistan, they only show the DEMS.' approval of the increase? Why don't they show the % of Independents who support a troop increase-is it too HIGH for their comfort? Does it go against their narrative of Obama's popularity tanking? :eyes:

1. Gah! The way the media loves to spin stuff just pisses me off!
Why don't they spend their time REPORTING the news instead of constantly trying to manipulate it? I can barely stand to watch it anymore, it's become so twisted and dishonest. Keith and Rachel are pretty much the only ones I watch on TV these days.

2. Me, too...
and although Keith and Rachel are MY favorites, too, they have been unfairly criticizing him from the LEFT at times. It's like Obama can't win with these people!

3. Corporate Media is NOT Pres. Obama's friend
I recall when he was inaugurated that reporters were vowing to be vigilant in their reporting, and to ask the hard questions since they believed they've been too lacks in the past EIGHT years.

No shit, sherlocks.

All of a sudden they've found their spine and their critical voices (the one they lost during repubs reign of fear and disaster) now the Democrats are in power, and BOY do they keep their promises.

If Pres. Obama looks the wrong way, they say he's worried that he's losing support with the American people, but when Bush makes a horrendous joke about looking for WMD in the Oval Office, they all throw their heads back and laugh collectively, saying "how cuuuute". Yeah, I know they don't say it, but that's how it's presented to us.

Corporate media loathes progressives, and say what you will, although pragmatic as need be, Pres. Obama is a progressive because he's leading this country progressively into the future. So, he might not be a liberal, but he sure is a progressive and we should be happy for it, not try to crucify him for it.

4. I know the media lies..I wouldn't trust corporate
mediawhores on anything much less the polls on President Obama..all they have is manufactured controversary and manipulation. While the President goes about the business of trying to un-fubar their collaberation with the bushcheney quagmire.
