Obama is heading to Kucinich's district tomorrow.
According to Nate Silver. I doubt it will change anything, but there you go.

2. At the least, it puts Kucinich
on the spot, voting against a bill his constituents need.

5. Yes, he did. 57% of the vote in his congr. district
Edited on Mon Mar-15-10 01:47 AM by DFLforever
But Pres Obama got 60% of the vote in Kucinich's district. So he has the advantage tomorrow.

I agree that he may need to explain why this bill is so bad for his constituents - an argument I haven't heard him make.

7. Good. The President can ask the good people of Ohio
Why do so many politicians seem to care so much more about Insurance companies and making some
"point" and have no problem denying 31 million people health coverage.....just so they can spite the Insurance Carriers?

How could anyone look into someone's face and want to say.....well, "since we couldn't do more,
we ain't doing shit for you instead!"

I fucking want to know what this is called; cause it ain't empathy, it ain't sympathy, and it ain't truly human related principle.....no matter how much folks would try to rationalize as such.

When did Americans' lives become of lesser value
than sticking it to the suits? What is that about?

I saw that 11 year old little boy begging congress, and talking about his dead mother.
and it's not just him, it's other Babies, young children, mothers, fathers all told to fucking wait some more, cause hey.....we don't like insurance companies, and we got a fucking point to make!

What kind of politicians would really truly believe that they are doing anyone a favor,
by handing a death sentence, in order to say "Fuck you" to Insurance companies?
Why do those companies matter so damn much more than the lives of ordinary Americans?

I'm really sick of this petty selfish ass spoiled bullshit.

Yeah....the more I think about it, the madder I become!

10. I know you have a personal stake
in this Frenchie for your nephew..and thank you for working so hard and being so FIRED UP!

My guess is.. since it's not empathy or sympathy..it's simply NO for a spectrum of excuses.

11. Hello, FrenchieCat! Indeed there was a great "Did you hear that, Dennis!" moment at the rally.
It was awesome to see the rally crowd so OVERWHELMINGLY for HCR to the point where a guy yelled out to Kucinich, "VOTE YES!!!!"

And Obama, quick on his feet as always, turned to Kucinich and said "Did you hear that, Dennis!"

This hadto rate as having been one of the most fired up rallies ever, and Dennis' constituents (or rather the people in attendance) made themselves clear that they WANT this bill to pass and pass now.

8. Could prove interesting.
One thing Nate pointed out on his blog today that I found interesting - Dennis Kucinich is the ONLY person in the House of Representatives opposing this bill from the left. He might say he has 3 supporters, me, myself & I.
