I do hope Dennis runs in 2012...
Edited on Tue Mar-09-10 01:45 PM by Drunken Irishman
I'm really sorry for flooding the BOG with Kucinich posts, but what the hell...

I hope he does run in 2012. I would love to see him run. I'd love to see his campaign nationally top out at 2%.

I would love to see Pres. Obama win the Iowa Caucus 97% to 3% - if DK is lucky.

I would love to watch DU realize that the DEMOCRATIC PARTY and its voters do not want anything to do with Kucinich.

Then I would love to watch them spin the results.

We're told that Democrats are fed-up with Obama. Well, okay, let's see how Kucinich does in a primary race.

Run, Dennis, run!

2. Irish, I see the Kooch supporters got on the wrong side of you!
I'd rather not have the distraction and media circus of a Kucinich challenge, though.

to Irish..the whole thing on Countdown totally got on the wrong side of me too.

However, over-enlarged dennis' ego is..I hope he doesn't run, either.

6. lol
Seriously, though, I don't think there would be a media circus because he isn't a legitimate contender. If anything, it would provide Obama a stark contrast between him and a nutbag. :D

3. Ah, but for the power of Diebold ...

Surely you know that the machines have already been pre-programmed after the operators were paid off by DLC shills to make certain the One True Hero will not be allowed to win.

Reality? What is this reality you speak of?

4. Gnoming! That's what we could do with StD!!
From Wiki: The travelling gnome prank is a method of returning a garden gnome "to the wild". It involves stealing a gnome, taking it on a trip, and photographing it at famous landmarks, with the photos being returned to the owner.

Someone good at photoshop could have a lot of fun with this! And at least StD would finally serve a useful purpose... laughter!

9. I'm afraid
that since he is (purportedly) a living, breathing human being, gnoming DK could result in kidnapping charges (unfortunately).

Now if you could get him to go along voluntarily…

8. "I would love to watch DU realize that the DEMOCRATIC PARTY and its voters do not want anything to
do with Kucinich."

That man could get .0000026% of the vote during the primaries. The man could have other Democrats openly laugh and point at him when he enters the stage for debates. That man could have Democrats throw squirrel poop at him at every appearance.

And the deranged and deluded that comprise far too much of DU would STILL RALLY BEHIND HIM. What in hell makes you think that reality and common sense have any place in this?? People here have convinced themselves that Democrats and the American public are TERRIFIED of Kucinich when the vast majority have NEVER EVEN HEARD OF HIM. The same folks who accuse Obama of "being all talk and no action" run, not walk, RUN to line up behind a man who is the DICTIONARY DEFINITION of this type of behavior. The insanity surrounding this man is -- insane.

10. Right you are ~ in fact

Since I have been able to read what some of his "supporters" are saying at DU ~ I now can't unestand for the life of me why I liked him before.

Now I know.

He seemed to be a nice man who SUPPORTED the Democratic Party.
Even then he didn't have enough strength and support to get to 1st base in any of the debates.
Even when he married the pretty wife ~ it got him no where that I can see.

Now he is working against President Obama to show that WE should all be happy and vote for him next time --- it ain't gonna happen St. Dennis. It ain't gonna happen.

I will remember his words and his deeds and will never forgive him for it, never.

13. Sadly, that doesn't surprise me
I remember a poll last year or so that had Kucinich in a presidential battle with Obama. Child, guess who was winning?? :eyes:

And what got me is that the comments from people didn't say things like "I know this is wildly unrealistic but I'm voting for Kucinich anyway" or "I know this has a snowball's chance in hell of happening but I'm going with Kucinich." Girl, people were acting as if this man actually stood a chance against Obama. I think it was at this point that I really started to understand the quality of the posters here and their level of political and real world experience.

12. I'd like it if it were a cleared out field otherwise - head to head.
THEN we could definitely tell these idiots that their savior is not wanted, once and for all.

14. If DK managed to get 3% he'd probably be over the moon happy.
And I'd be over the moon laughing at him the whole time.
