I was forwarded another Obama smear e-mail today.
It came from my brother as an FYI. besides replying and refuting it, which I did, I was wondering if there was some place to forward this too so that they can be aware of it.
This was not the Obama is a Muslim e-mail. This one has a picture of Senator Obama turned away from our flag and his hands in his pockets while other candidates salute the flag. Of course you can guess what the caption alludes too.

1. His campaign probably already knows about it.
I haven't seen that particular e-mail (although I've heard about it.). I looked it up on Snopes and here's a lot more info. about the "incident". (Sorry if you've already seen this.) http://snopes.com/politics/obama/anthem.asp

I hate those e-mails. Why people believe those things is beyond me.

3. I haven't received any of these smear e-mails. On one hand
that is good, but on the other, it would be good to be able to e-mail the debunking of the e-mail.

4. The Obama camp is fully aware of the emails
A couple of Federal employees (probably loyal Bushies) were recently caught forwarding these emails from their govt computers. That is a violation of the Hatch act, which could lose them their jobs.

5. Believe me, they (and we) are well aware of it
I've seen literally hundreds of them in the last two weeks since we came out on behalf of Barry O'Bama. And you would not even *begin* to believe all the terrible, hateful nastygrams people have been writing to the info@jk and support@jk email addresses, which I happen to have to wade through ever day as part of the "other duties as assigned" part of my day job. (Imagine, if you will, the worst of the DU lefty freepers and trollbots only magnified by a factor of 10 for gratuitous moranity and trashtalkery. Oy!)

Anyway, the O'Bama people have a page on their site set up specifically for pushback against those three constantly circulating anonymous smearmails:

And, as an aside, you might find it interesting, amusing, and/or informative to check out this website also:

cheers (and roebuck),
Otter
