Check out this video around the 4:22 to 5:12 mark or so. John McCain is giving an interview in which he is denouncing and badmouthing Halliburton and saying that there needed to be an investigation into the Halliburton corruption allegations. All of a sudden, the interview is interrupted mid-stream as McCain is informed by staff he has an incoming call. Lo and behold its none other than the Evil Dick himself on the blower. As McCain breaks away from the interview to take the call he sure has a guilty. "Oh shit, what does Dick want now? Good Gawd, did he just hear what I was saying about Halliburton?" type of look on his face.
Not that I would suggest the Dick has McCain's office bugged and was listening in from his undisclosed location in the underground, bomb proof, reinforced concrete
bat VP cave under his house or anything like that. No doubt it was quite coincidental that his call into McCain came at exactly the same time McCain was sullying the reputation of the Evil Dick's fine, upstanding, war-profiteering chums at Halliburton in front of the media.
The video itself is apparently an excerpt from the documentary "Why We Fight" and well worth watching.
