Ron Paul didn't take a single state on Super Tuesday, and that's great news for every progressive who opposes the libertarian "Economic Darwinism" that he promotes. This video celebrates the fizzling of the much-spammed "Ron Paul Revolution" and pleasantly reminds us that not even Bush's America is crazy enough to throw the baby out with the bathwater.

I think some of the anti-Paul hostility is misdirected. He is far from the stupidest or craziest thing the GOP has to offer. Case in point: the above evolution doubting preacher who wants to make the constitution "conform with the word of god"(paraphrasing I think).

If he wasn't anti-war and anti-authoritarian I doubt anyone on this site would even notice Paul.

Ron Paul is a nice obstetrician from Surfside, TX. He's a bit of a batshit crazy Libertarian, but I don't think he was ever cut out for the amount of national attention he got.

I love him for his anti-war stance and the conniption fits he inspires in Republicans. I don't understand the obsessing over him that's gone on here on DU. It wasn't like he was going to win, even with some decent 4th-place showings.

You are totally right that Huckabee's wins were more disturbing. Beneath his charm and good humor is some scary shit.
