6. Obama getting 10% of the "White" vote isn't racism...

It is a REJECTION of it.

What Maher doesn't understand here is that Democrats... which he appropriately ascribes as being "racially blind"... don't like it when they perceive Obama to be "playing up" race or "courting the black vote". Note that Hillary was not the recipient of those votes by "white voters" turned off by the injection of Race into the debate, John Edwards was.

White voters not voting for Obama isn't because white Democrats are closet racists, it's a REJECTION of racism being used as an issue.
