to build momentum! I REALLY LOVED this! What's with the looks Richardson is giving? The first one he turns and smiles to Clinton and then kind of looks like Edwards is talking Vietnamese or something!

Great Ad! I guess I can donate a little more as long as he's getting matching funds at his website. What IS the "skinny" on the matching funds of up to $250.00 anyway! I know he can get up to that much, but how much do you have to donate?? I have donated quite a few times and they have thanked me, but is there a bottom line of the amount? Thanks to anyone who can tell me.

I'm thinking the matching funds are up to the first $250 per donor. That's why I stopped rah-rah'ing for DU's ActBlue page, which I miss doing, since it encourages the DU JRE supporters to put our money where our mouths are :( When in doubt, directly to the campaign !? In any event, I think the campaign is just as thrilled with 10 $10 donors as much as 1 $100 donor !

I keep telling myself I'll sit down one day and "do something" about it, but so far... NOT!

So If I give $50.00, even though I've given before he still gets matching funds of up to $250.00m correct? I too was pushing ActBlue because Edwards was receiving more than any other candidate here, but if he get more the other way.... then that's how it goes!!

BTW, we HAVE a lot of DU supporters here, seems he generally wins the DU polls that go around from time to time. Still, we KNOW what is happening! For myself, I find it so frustrating because his message has been "muted" by MSM! When you look at who owns what it's not difficult to figure it out, but I DID once believe in America as being a REAL Democracy! Not so much anymore, and I don't say that simply because of John Edwards, it's just what I've seen in my own back yard (meaning where I live) and of course on the National scene as well.

I still have my WISH for what I want to see what happen, but as I've said many times before... I DON'T HOPE anymore. I don't think I've used that word when it comes to politics for a very very long time! But I REALLY like this ad, it's hits hard and is extremely moving, at least to me!

Get out there. It is really fun. You will meet neighbors who agree with you. If you like politics, you will love walking your precinct. Get a list of Democratic voters. Talk to your local Democratic Club or see if your Edwards Meet-Up group can somehow get one. Or just go door to door.

33. He's my #1....but there are some great candidates running this time around.

I'm an Edwards supporter, and I haven't contributed a dime ...yet. He's in it for the long haul, and I'm a man of modest means, so my contribution will be such. But if this man follows through with what he is saying on the campaign trail, this nation is ready for him and America will be the winner.

One of my primary reasons for backing him is "we won't be terminating a Senator to fill the White House." Hillary and Barack are great choices too, but they can serve their country in Washington and further strengthen our ability to make this change. Barack has several election cycles ahead of him. Hillary may as well.

We need a "first black and female" in the White House, but the needs of this country are more than just cracking a race or gender barrier. We will do that, but let's get this country out of the toilet, and then we can handle those concerns. Right now, let's get the wheels rolling for getting things done.

The repugs have pulled this country down into the pig trough long and deep enough. We need to reverse the injustice and selfishness of this country, as well as right the criminal wrongs of this latest administration and Congress.

Go America!! We are NOT #1, but we can be.

34. aaarrggghhh.... the first vid in a long time where he talks about POVERTY, and *me*, and the

background "music" is so loud it drowns out his voice! (NO, it's not a matter of turning down the volume... his words are on the same track as the music, so you turn down the music and it also turns down his voice.) This is unfortunate, because this is John at his best, and exactly the message I want to email to others to have them HEAR! John is eloquent by himself, and needs no "music" to get our attention!

For a while now he's been talking only about the middleclass, and it made me feel left out. NOW he's back on message, and it brings tears to my eyes! My car broke down, I"m having an awful day, and it means so much to me to know that John Edwards is telling people that I matter!

35. Great video, one small reality check

John Edwards is always very careful to say that he has never taken a dime from Washington lobbyists. It is true that he has taken money in the past from state lobbyists. You can read more about the facts here. I do not mention this to detract from John Edwards. He speeks the truth. His campaign has tried to return all money donated by Washington lobbyists, and IMO he is by far the "cleanest" of the top Democratic candidates.
