1. One of the worst things about this administration/republicans

is how much we collectively and generally aren't shocked by by things like this any more.

I mean yeah, maybe a *little* surprised, but can anyone honestly say they were shocked at this point? It's awful, but we've seen egregious statement after egregious statement (and act after act) and I think we have a collective callous of sorts.

While this might be less true for the progressive crowd, I think it's clearly true for the masses. If they saw this they'd probably just give an apathetic shrug. It's amazing, but apparently the best way to get away with unlawful behavior is to continue to do it over and over and over in any way you can until people become numb to it.

Well, at least that's how it works when you have a pathetically weak opposition party.
