1. Change?
If you want real change you'll vote for Dennis Kucinich.
He was right about not going to war, and he's never funded the war. Compare that to John Edwards' support for the war in Iraq and his continued funding for it.... you have to ask yourself, what kind of change does Edwards really represent?

This video sums it up well:

3. Kucinich threw his support to Obama, and effectively conceded.

5. And Dennis chose who???
Who did Dennis send all his support to in Iowa? OBAMA yes thats right OBAMA continued support for the war! John voted for the war in large part because the majority of this country was pushing for the war, alot of people were fooled..a lot of people were for the war who are now against it.

John has admitted that not only was it a mistake but probably the biggest mistake he has ever made! That's courage, that's a real man with some humble pie in his back pocket. In addition your claim that he continues to support and fund the war is just plain FALSE!

Dennis used to be my second choice but has lost a tremendous amount of support from me.

2. Reminds me of Obama's line "Our moment is now"
Obama has been using different versions of that line in many of his speeches in the past few weeks.

Including his speech to the DNC Fall Meeting on November 30th (where Edwards also spoke).

If you watch this video of Obama's speech, you can find the relevant part about 3 minutes in:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=sCNmFOosFe8

And here you can read the official transcript:

4. Obama's speechwriter is Edwards' former speechwriter.
Edwards has been saying things like this since 2003.

8. "Our time is now." --by John Edwards
John has used this theme since the 2004 primary. It is Obama who is copying Edwards. No mistake.

7. Like the "corporate greed" message, which is resonating.
Really found the music annoying.

9. great message
really annoying music, as it grabbed my attention away from what he was saying to think 'what odd music for this'... Sometimes, my ego is big and I think, 'why don't they get me to make these?' ha... I just have been so blessed with so many kind words about my simple editing of videos on youtube with windows movie maker, that I think if given the money and software, I'd make a commercial for him that makes this commercial look poorly made - oh wait, it already does.

so funny bobbolink, that you also were annoyed by the music, that alone proves to me it is going to annoy many people, I hope they're running others instead.

10. The Music
The music is annoying because its too loud. Lower the volume and soften it a bit and it would be background that doesn't overshadow the words.

11. Could be. But, why the necessity for music, anyway? His voice is the message, and what
we need to hear.

It escapes me.

12. in video school your often taught that music enhances everything
So producers feel that music has to be in just about every piece. I find it often unnecessary. Like I once put together a video piece of a MLK like speaker, a black Reverend who spoke at a protest in Seattle the day of Bush's inauguration. He was on fire. Just unbelievably great. The crowd and the applause, all the signs, it was tremendous. I was considering putting it in my portfolio as a thirty second spot, edited way down, but my advisor - who is a very talented producer - wanted me to add music to it. I just couldn't consider doing that. I could think of nothing appropriate, I could think of nothing that would do anything but detract from the actual words the man was saying. So I just scrapped it because I already have plenty of finished projects for my reel. But yeah, I wouldn't have had music for that, and if I did it would have been different than what was in the piece. Edward's producer probably felt it needed music, he/she was probably trained that way. My preference would have been to leave it out. Or add in a little applause or something more authentic. Make people watching feel like they are actually there. Music detracts from that I think.

13. And in other schools of thought, we learn that "always" and "never" are fallacies.
It's too bad that it's seen and taught that music is *necessary* at all times.

I'm glad that you had the gumption to leave it off when it wasn't appropriate!

Too bad they don't consult us! :hi:
