Since 2003, Sudan's Arab government and its Janjaweed militias have been destroying villages and displacing, raping, torturing, and killing Darfur's black African citizens.

So what can you do? Speak Out by calling your Congress Member to demand
1) a strong UN Peacekeeping force,
2) establishment of a no-fly zone,
3) generous humanitarian aide,
4) divestment from Sudan,
5) military sanctions and
6) International Criminal Court prosecutions.

Also, see the film 'The Devil Came on Horseback', contact the press to demand more coverage and make some noise. Finally, support the following organizations which deal with Darfur: Global Grassroots, a non profit that works to advance the wellbeing of women in poor countries; Three Generations, an organization dedicated to exposing genocide and educating people and governments about genocide; and Save Darfur, a leader in Darfur activism.

makes any video documentation impossible to form a reasoned opinion on. Is the the man on the horse with an AK-47 riding in to save the day for his village or kill an innocent child just for the hell of it?

Exclusive video should be compiled and presented in a manner respectful of its importance, and not edited into a music video.

The words to the song speak of a man on horseback leading the charge into the destruction, so the words should give you a clue to what the horseman represents. In addition, we mention the documentary, "The Devil Came on Horseback"; so obviously the man represents the evil coming into the villages and killing people and causing death and destruction. Also, there has been, and there still is no defense of the people in Darfur going through this horrible ordeal. No one is riding to save the day, which is the whole point of this video.

We have presented this exclusive video content in a very respectful manner. We graciously received this video content from people who were on the ground there, and we wanted to try and call attention to this genocide, and get people involved in alleviating it and stopping it. We feel we di not just "edit it into a music video", but the song was created with the footage in mind, and we are trying to get help to these people who desperately need it.

I urge you to research the horrible tragedy of Darfur, and you will see the relevance of the video editing and the video itself.
