Reporting from New Hampshire rally, where the crowd continues growing, NBC covers the rallies with Oprah Winfrey and several new polls that show Barack neck and neck for the lead. December 9, 2007.

3. It was a beautiful sight!

My 4 year old son and I were two of nearly 30,000. The fact that a candidate can inspire this many so early in the race is wonderful. The diversity of the crowd was beautiful as well. I think the game is on.

5. Obama was the most impressive he's ever been, IMO.

I was there as well. When I walked in, he wasn't even my third choice candidate. After seeing him in person, with such a strong and confident message, he is a top consideration for me.

Good for you taking your son. At four, he will proabably remember it for the rest of his life. I have the impression that he may have witnessed the next president.

8. I saw Obama in Rock Hill at a smaller venue

but this was just beautiful seeing all these people show up! I love it - and if South Carolina and America stay this engaged with Obama as President - I think it will make up for the past eight years of Bushisms.

7. Thanks for posting this jefferson_dem! I ran into a friend that I

hadn't seen in a while in the bookstore this afternoon and she commented that she'd seen bits of one of these appearances. She mentioned that she was inspired by watching what she had seen, but I don't think that she's gonna switch candidates, nor will I, because of Oprah's appearances, but you did save me the time of finding the clips on YouTube.

I think that it's great that she is speaking up and speaking out on behalf of a candidate that she admires and believes in. :thumbsup:
