Constitutional law scholar Professor Jonathan Turley: "THEY DON'T WANT A COURT TO SAY THAT THE PRESIDENT DID SOMETHING THAT IS A FEDERAL CRIME....THE (state secrets) PRIVILEGE IS NOW A TOOL USED TO PROTECT THE GOVERNMENT FROM ITS OWN CRIMES."

The idea that executive privelege is used to keep people from proving the gov'n committed a crime in court when it is plain that a crime was committed, simply because doing so would force an impeachment trial (and who would want that?) sickens me.

This is exactly what dictators have done in this century. It is yet another symptom of a closing society. However, this administration has gone one further than Hitler; they have withdrawn from the International Criminal Court that the US created, and that should have been the first warning bell.
