5. 5:37 - I feel marginalized,.
Kuchinich is the man! He is the only one that makes any sense to me,. ( although Edwards has been saying some reasonable things too! I'm looking into his past a bit,. holding judgment.) Relentless peace advocate in a time that desperately needs one! Some one who sees the inequity in the structure of America,. and has ideas to change things. If I thought there was a chance that he could be the candidate for president I would do all I could to get him there, however the system itself is too badly broken,. people like Kuchinich would never be offered as an option, as they would win in a free/fair election. There will not be such an election. The pirate bankers that run the world will never allow it, they don't want to have to pull another Kennedy. Kennedy went after the CIA and the fed. and,. . pop!

7. I guess though technically Gravel got the least amount of time...
Though I'm with Kucinich SO much on what he said here. And he did pack a lot in his responses and was able to "frame" his responses in a way that worked around questioners' attempts to pigeonhole his responses by asking things like "Are there anythings that unions do that you don't like?". That sort of question, absent of the question on how he DOES support them really is unfair. He did the right thing by deferring the actual response to the question until the very end of his response, and by his answer showed why it was a poor question to start with that didn't give the voter an idea of what he really stood for.

52. That young lady wanted to ask about Yucca Mountain
That was on top of the list of questions she submitted to CNN for approval. According to her MySpace, she wrote a lengthy essay on Yucca Mountain. We can't have substance in our debate, though, so they forced her to ask the stupid diamonds/pearls question.

Personally, I think they all missed on opportunity to speak out against the whole blood-stained industry.

The media whores are trying to make this about Hillary and Barack and not about the issues.
Kucinich won this debate.
By the way did you notice that the mother of soldier stood up and was clapping for Dennis Kucinich when he talked about impeachment?
That's right, if you remember when they interviewed her she said she was undecided.
Well I think she made her choice when she stood up.

Only Dennis Kucinich and no else in 2008!!!!!!

21. The whole election process is a sham ...
Didn't you know that it's been preordained that Hillary will be the next president? Do you know about the Bilderburg Group?

Look, our entire system is a sham. Nothing as it seems to be. This whole dog & pony show we call our election process is something they do to make the people think they actually have a say in who is going to lead this country. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Bill Clinton attended the Bilderburg Group secret meeting the year before he was "elected". Hillary was "rumored", to have attended to 06' meeting.

If she becomes president and does two terms that would mean that either someone named Bush or Clinton has ruled over this nation of 330,000,000 people for 28 years. And they call people like me that think there's something wrong with a system that out of 330,000,000 people we have the same two families, with the same policies, ruling us for this long, conspiracy nuts.

If we had a fair election process, we'd have universal health care, no wars, the Federal Reserve Bank and the IRS would be history, schools that actually educated, streets that were safe to walk and drive down, and citizen statesman, instead of a revolving door of career politicians.

There is no America like the one we were taught in school anymore. That America has been steadily eroded, bought-off and corrupted to the core by the 1%ers who meet every year in secret to determine who will rule where and what wars will be fought that will keep them in control of nearly everything and everybody on this planet. How after watching these phony, lopsided, so-called fair debates could anyone think anything else? Do you think it's an accident that Kucinich is ignored and Clinton get's the lion's share of the attention? And again, they call me "nuts" when you can see the insanity before your own eyes.

It's just that most of us will end up wanting to vote for Hillary.

http://www.nytimes.com/2006/05/10/nyregion/10hillary.html?_r=1&partner=rssnyt&emc=rss&oref=slogin

In 2005, the fix was in for Hillary.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1423351/posts

I'm not nearly as pessimistic as you are. I always encourage friends and acquaintances to get their news online from independent sources. I say that mainstream media seems to be drinking from the same fountain. No matter what the source, it is exactly the same story. A different viewpoint can be refreshing. Some mention that they have noticed the uniformity among news outlets. And some even express a desire for a different viewpoint.

Too little, too late for this election, though.

Hail Hillary!

56. Gonnuts- perhaps we should let the kids keep santa?
I happen to unfortunately agree with you Gonnuts, the table is tilted the game is rigged! .1% of the people control this planet through manipulations, mostly bankers, and corporate heavies,. yes the Bilderburgers and others, they are all wealthy pirates. We are still in the endless CLASS WAR. Those with the wealth have the power to dictate to the rest of us,. they "own" everything; energy, food, housing, even now private armies! We could and likely will be priced out of food at some point,. imagine if you could not afford to buy some bread. And Haliberton start opening debtors prisons and this new slave class is then used by these 'people' to keep themselves rollin in it,. our blood.

And no it is not because these people are good little capitalists, that 'work' to create businesses to help society, that is a part of the lie! I could start a business if I could get some ca$h, however none is available to me,. No property, NO LOAN!!! The repug's like to point to all the failings of gov. while they are the ones breaking it up as best they can,. yeah it don't work the way you bastards run it! Then they say we should kill this and that program or department as it is inefficient and wasteful,. The national debt is a lie the gov. borrows money form PRIVATE banks and then we pay interest, compounded,. when the gov. COULD have created money at cost,.i.e. debt free! So we are held in this debt-loop by the bankers that created it, and they get an ENDLESS supply of cash! Of course they are in control and 'winning' as Colter would say,. they are stealing from all of us and using the money to fund the destruction of america! The only way forward I can see is to disengage from their systems,. buy nothing from corporate interests,. do everything possible to live with the lowest possible impact on the earth and sustainably produce all you are able to,. I am looking to get out of the city and onto a little piece of land,. build a straw-bale off-grid passive solar house and grow as much organic food as I can myself. Cuba got off oil so can America. We need to re-localize! < http://relocalize.net/ >

Dennis did really well last night. He and Biden stole the show.

If I could offer him some constructive criticism...he needs to appear more confident. He's saying all these great things but there are some awkward pauses before he speaks and his eyes sometimes shift, making him seem nervous. Take a breath, stand steady, and you've got a winner.

27. The more Kucinich talks AND IS HEARD..the more he is becoming the ONE, CLEAR ANSWER FOR THIS COUNTRY
I was turned on with Kucinich some time back...because I heard him. This is the ONE honest and straight shooter on the "wish list" today. Ron Paul is the other only straight shooter, and he's loony with too many economic ideas to ever persuade me to consider.

Kucinich IS the answer!! We can settle for second best. We can settle for "who the media conglomerates offer us". We can settle for who big business and corporations support....OR we can choose who is best for America!! It's really that simple.

I ask lots of folks "who do you support now", and I always get the same answer....."Kucinich is great, but he doesn't have a chance". He doesn't have a chance so long as WE DON'T GIVE HIM A CHANCE.

This election is probably the one time we could put a real donkey on the ballot and he would win over the troop of idiots and neocons on the repug ticket. Why not give it a go. I am sixty years old, and I have NEVER been able to vote for who I wanted, because the "big brother" has ALWAYS weaned them off the ballot and ended up giving me "the lesser of two evils".

KUCINICH DOES HAVE A CHANCE....IF YOU GIVE HIM ONE!!!

because the msm doesn't carry it and I don't have cable. How in the hell can people make a choice when it is hidden from most everybody? For the record I have made my choice some time back and that choice is DK. I want others to hear him and all of the other candidates for that matter. Even though DK got swidled out of more time, the 5 minutes or so he did talk should've been over the air and that would've been 5 minutes more than most would have had to date. There are people out there that don't even know of all of the candidates that are running let alone heard of them all.

33. I've had the rare opportunity to ...
....drive several different Bugattis in years past. Several real Duesenbergs too! What perfection they are - everything you could want in performance and stunning, classic styling. Thing is, given their rarity and the cost of owning one, I'll never have one of my own. That said, the classic car I've settled for (and trust me, it's not mainstream) is easy to own and different enough to always draw praise wherever I drive it.
Kucinich is my Bugatti of potential presidents, my chosen marque is one that's realistically ownable. It goes down the road just fine and steers wherever I want it to go.

He's right about all the issues. Sad that this fact alone makes him stand out so much. All the candidates should be right on the issues that matter to us.

Why do so few Democratic candidates stand for the things that are important to Democrats?

The state of American politics is just so depressing. It's becoming, no, has become, just another source of entertainment. I mean, really, Hillary Clinton? She sat on the Walmart Board of Directors. Rupert Murdoch has hosted fund raisers for her. John Catsimatidis, New York billionaire, recently converted to Republican, has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for her. She's a Republican, for heaven's sake. Nothing that comes out of her mouth sounds Democratic.

I guess she can pose as a Democrat because the GOP has been abducted by the fascists. But that doesn't mean I have to vote for her.

51. Least amount of time and the best responses. The others would like to pretend he isn't there
He's right on everything and has all the courage and heart and the best judgment too. I WISH PEOPLE WOULD GET IT THROUGH THEIR HEADS THAT "ELECTABILITY" IS NOT AN ISSUE IN THIS PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION. All the dem candidates for president are electable...None of the republican candidates are electable (except possibly Ron Paul). The repubs want us to believe that so they can get the candidate they are most comfortable with as president...Hillary.

The press wants us to believe that so they can keep raking in the campaign money with "It's a close race" crap. Repubs aren't concerned about running against Hillary...they just think she would be the most tolerable candidate they could deal with as president.

WHOEVER WINS THE DEMOCRATIC NOMINATION WILL BE THE NEXT PRESIDENT.

Kucinich is the best candidate by far and if nominated will be the next president, "Electability" is not an issue this time...not after the horrors of the Bush/republican administration...and with the GOP presidential candidates being such a joke. Kucinich is the only real change out there that is all around the best answer to all the issues. Hell, even Ron Paul supports him as the best of the democrats.

54. If you count Wolf Blitzkreig's talk overs Kucinich was given even less time

57. Thanks so much, Hissyspit. You just saved me almost 2 hours of fury. I
recorded the debate but when I heard of Dennis' paltry time allotment, I just couldn't bear watching it, even though I love Dennis.

Thanks again~u r THE BEST!

58. Must see TV
Dennis did well with the time he was given. Reminds me why he is my first choice.

60. Excuse me but this "debate" is a sorry excuse for a real one
The RW framing of questions, the sillyness of "it's holiday season, parents are worried about toys, what about China" and the diamond piece at the end. The unions question by Blitzer should have read "do you believe there nothing wrong with unions (because the always benevolent megacorps think there is...)" Seriously, what the fuck?
Questions framed by corporate media are fed to you as "debate".

And Kucinich must have stood out like a sore thumb among the candidates with his clear statements. He is the best up there...
