2. I'm so glad you like it...
I collected most of the photos a while ago, but didn't have the perfect song until picking up Tab Benoit's new album this week. That Stephen Stills song is one of my favorites and I usually don't like covers nearly as much as the original ~ but this version is so haunting I can't get it out of my head.

10. NIce Video
NIce Video but I am sort of tired of everyone bitching about bush and bemoaning our trade deficit with China. I mean bush screwed the country royally, but time to move on. Bush bashing is going to be stale by next November when independents are going to have to decided between Hillary and whoever else gets the R-nomination.

I am ready for a video that looks forward, thought I am not sure what exactly that will look like.

Respectfully, clive

11. Unfortunately, Bush is the catalyst of this horror story...

My next one deals with an even bigger problem ~ but imo there's hope in both.

5. Everything --
2006, of course, though a win, hasn't changed anything in Iraq ---

Our Treasury is being bankrupted --- America reduced to a third world nation ---

We are all being tortured by Cheney/Bush --

7. It does feel like torture, especially worrying about our kids...
...inheriting this mess. But everything changed pretty quickly, and I have faith that things can change quickly again ~ this time in the right direction. Since that very first stolen election I've thought that this experience would be a catalyst for a quantum leap in our sociaty. We'll see...

8. Yes . . . but WAR and other insanities have kept us from responding to Global Warmig . . .
we might have had a slim chance there ---

We need to nationalize OIL
and get Electric Cars on the roads ---

See: "Who Killed The Electric Car?"

Did you get a chance to look at Votescam --- i.e., that our elections have been in question since the mid 1960s thru computer fraud?

If not --- I put a thread up here --- VOTESCAM --- and there's a website where you can read the Jim + Ken Collier book. Very interesting investigation which they began in the 1960's!!!!

9. Thanks; I'll check it out...
What's really heartbreaking is to consider where we'd be if the initiatives begun in the late 60s and early 70s had been allowed to continue ~ I actually get a pang in my chest just thinking about it.

12. And . . .
if you do get to the VOTESCAM website and browse the book ---
PLEASE try to move the info on because so many think that this was an aberration in 2000!!!

These steals have been going on since mid-60s ....

Actually -- the coup on JFK changed everything ---
Rachel Carson, Pollution, Overpopulation, Vatican II -- Detente with Russia ---

There's a 50 year delay in Global Warming --- and they knew it was the burning of fossil fuels ---
that's why the oil industry seems to find a need to involve themselves in GW propaganda and buying officials they sent to DC ---

Now we're making WAR for them ---

13. I did visit the site and just had lunch with some people...
...who were very interested and, as Floridians, not surprised.

imo the awakening of the 60s scared the hell out of those who were invested in the status quo, and those folks in turn scared the hell out of your basic non-thinking American (just as they still do). I always say that the first victory of the vast right-wing conspiracy was the demonizing of the hippies, effectively writing them off as sex- and drug-crazed utopians, and conning mainstream America into signing on to 40 more years of planetary abuse.

Question for 2008 voters: ARE WE AWAKE YET??
