This is a very good ad and it's kind of cool to finally see that mill he keeps talking about! This is the first ad the Edwards campaign has run in South Carolina.

3. Edwards won SC last time. He wasn't leading there until January.
He will be in a great position when he wins Iowa.

13. Great ad. Leaves no doubt who stands for working folks.
Anyone who ever lived in small town America knows what this ad is about. Young people have had no hope in rural America for many, many years. A college degree gets you a waitress job in many small towns. And it isn't just small town, rural America, opportunities are limited for anyone who wants to work for a living in America today.

15. you know, this can all be tied together with social security too
the young people have no jobs because the old cannot afford to retire and release the jobs they have to the young. its a vicious cycle that needs to be rolled back. it's sad. i have been working since i was 16 officially, 12 unofficially. for me, that's almost 45 years. i have paid into social security all of that time ... 45 years ... and i still cannot afford to retire. this crisis is making it so those who are at retirement age HAVE to keep on working instead of resting from all their hard work. and people wonder why the young are not getting involved in the world around them. all they see is a world that doesn't give a shit about them ... or the elderly.
