3. I'd like to issue a correction and an apology:

I once thought that Giuliani showed pretty reasonable leadership and, if not for all the skeletons in his closet, would be electable as President.

Correction: He's a manipulative jackass with serpentine tendencies in his political statements with limited research capabilities.

Apology: How could I have been so stupid to believe such a thing?

6. All I can say is

my father

a truly honest, decent, moral, religious (yes Christian, even Catholic!) man,
a man who did the best for his family, who strived and went to work every day like a true hero,
who raised three children the best way he could (and he did it well),
--he coming from a broken home himself--
and a man who never cheated on his one, non-related, wife

...that fine man was a recipient of this vaunted, 'non-socialist', profit-driven, corporate health care who just happened to die of prostate cancer at the age of 60, within 5 years of his diagnosis; replete with a long, insidious, relentless, god-awfully-painful decline.

While this drag queen yet (now) anti-gay Giuliani character constantly, blatantly lies,
--cheats on multiple wives
--alienates his children
--destroys his own family(s)
--supports and hires pederasts, mafiosi and other assorted criminals & sociopaths
--who never makes any mistakes (much like someone else we know)
--has delusions of his own self-glorified grandeur

STILL continues to flip-flop & flap his gums with constant, unabated inanities (helped all the way by this "liberal press")

and has the nerve to continue to live his long, lascivious, lying life.

Archbishop Desmond Tutu once said "This IS a moral universe". Perhaps that is so in the wide scheme of things. However when it comes down to individuals or even vast numbers of non-caucasian human beings, God/dess --nor most of the American people it seems-- doesn't really seem to care.

8. I'm an Olbermann fan, but...

this smacks of someone who got their facts wrong, and is taking out their embarrassment on the guy about whom they screwed up.

I'm not saying he's wrong to go after Guliani, who is as odious a human being as the Repubs are trotting out there, but this was the wrong way to go about it.
