Why let a self-funding government agency flourish when you can privatize it and make your corporate cronies even richer?

2. Issa's behind it. Need we say more?
If Congress passed that law about funding pensions, it can be changed. By someone who has balls. Or ovaries.

3. In the meantime, think of all the postal cost increases we have endured.
They, the P.O., should have known that increases were not enough to fund the mandate. What happens to the postal pensions once the USPs is privatized?

4. Reneged on the pension deals
The private company will come in and take the pensions, spend it all and when it really is time for the workers to retire, say, "oops (Rick Perry's voice), we lost the pension money."

This is nothing more than bald-faced kleptocracy.

7. the postal employees
always knew that nothing would cover the outrageous requirement for pension funding.
I was not aware when this was passed but I wonder how the executives at the Postal Service testified about it.

8. They're coming for your retirement money....
...so they can give it to their criminal friends on Wall Street.
