OPD is absolutely out of control. at the end of the video, you can see that one of them pulled a tazer, but was prevented from using it by a citizen.

1. I'm surprised that he didn't use it on her
or arrest her. Amazing that they get so worked up over porta potties. They can't stand that the occupiers were having a peaceful meal and day.

3. The protestors should not have physically jumped on the police officers
no matter what the officers were doing.

I think that the Occupy movement is right about a lot of things. But . . .

That video looks really awful. I may be wrong, but it looked to me like the protestors lost their cool and did not remain non-violent.

Either you stay non-violent regardless of what the police are doing or you lose the respect of the public.

Regardless of what the police do, protestors have to stay non-violent.

I'm not sure I could do that myself, but if you can't stay non-violent, you should not be protesting. You should stay home.
