Syria now faces punishing sanctions from the Arab League, as a diplomat from the body says Damascus ignored Friday's deadline to accept foreign observers. Meanwhile, France is actively seeking international support for a humanitarian corridor to be set up in the crisis-torn country. This is also the first time a major power has formally called for foreign intervention in the uprising against President Assad. But there are questions about Paris 'go-to' efforts.

1. And Syria is also on the PNAC list.
Seven countries, they just got Libya, they had Iraq already, which was cited as the 'first step'. Syrians need to be careful or they will end up like Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya.

Notice how Egyptian rebels absolutely refuse to allow these Western Imperial nations to interfere in their revolution and how they now recognize that in fact, that is what has happened. Their revolution was hi-jacked by the Western supported, brutal military. And that is why they are back on the streets, to end the influence of Imperialist Europe and the US in their country.

Syrians who actually are real revolutionaries should never accept NATO interference or they will end up with the same situation the Iraqis, Afthans and Libyans have.

3. Russia wants control in Syria. That is why RT is so
horrified at the thought of Sarkozy expressing support for those rising up against the Assad dictatorship.
