What is he afraid of?

Coward, perfectly demonstrating what the protesters are saying. He cannot even go talk to the people without his expensive 'security' details.

I hope one day we will have leaders who recognize that they are NOT above the people they represent and can speak to them as equals.

He bought that position with his billions of dollars making it impossible for any true people's candidate to even have a chance.

He has changed his political affiliation so many times I have difficulty remembering whether he is a Republica, a Democrat or an Independent each time he runs.

His photo should be used to demonstrate what is wrong with the system. He is the perfect poster boy for all that is wrong and he can't help proving it, his disdain for ordinary, non-billionaire, Americans.

4. I agree with everything you say - except

a person in his position might be better off with some guards. It's sad to say that, but with the proliferation of guns in the hands of loonies - think Gabby Giffords or the hair salon shoot'em up of last night - folks that some dilusional sort could errantly pass judgement on.... I can see them having some muscle.

6. Yes, you are correct. But I don't think anyone would object

if the security surrounding public figures was to protect them from the kind of people you correctly describe. His NYPD is there to protect him from the people. And he has sent them out to arrest the people.



But yes, even a top representative of Wall Street should have protection against violence. Clearly though, it is not his intention to protect the people from violence, as he repeatedly demonstrated.
