despite this is a day or so old. I don't think this was even covered by SFgate.com, but I might be wrong.

2. No actually I found it accidently

I just happened to find it today. I knew there were events in San Francisco, but the biggest thing being pushed was the Blue Grass festival. The OWS wasn't mentioned. Incidentally, currently there is a police helicopter flying over my house.. I wonder whats going on now?

3. Indeed, when I was coming home on BART...

the train was filled with people going to the Bluegrass fest, and about 5 people who said they were going to the protest. It looks like it was a great crowd for a Thursday!

If it's still going on this weekend, I'm definitely going to check it out. Which reminds me: there's a protest at the Federal Building this Friday to mark the 10th year of the war in Afghanistan. I'm definitely going to check that out!

4. I wonder if this is what the helicopter was all about:

San Francisco police shot and killed a knife-wielding man in the Richmond District this morning after the man stabbed one elderly relative to death and wounded another, police said.
