This is a song that speaks about a huge number of issues dealing with the I/P dispute.

I hope it is left up on DU for a long time...because it has a lot to teach everyone.

(The Last Chance was the real name of a night club in Beersheba. The owner was an American expat who spent his days collecting driftwood and kept playing Mahalia Jackson records in the bar all day. Leon Rosselson often visited this place during his year in Israel in the late 1950's).

I picture "Meir" in the song looking a lot like the older Rod Steiger...and "Sam" bearing a strong resemblance to Jack Gilford, or possibly Sam Jaffe.
