10. Revolution?

With this current and growing Wall St. action, taken with the massive Madison swell of democracy before it, and potentially culminating with the coming October 2011 Freedom Plaza event, we may in fact have a minor revolution taking shape. A clear group of goals, are being consensed;

A large majority of the American people consistently support the following agenda:

Tax the rich and corporations
End the wars, bring the troops home, cut military spending
Protect the social safety net, strengthen Social Security and improved Medicare for all
End corporate welfare for oil companies and other big business interests
Transition to a clean energy economy, reverse environmental degradation
Protect worker rights including collective bargaining, create jobs and raise wages
Get money out of politics

General enough to not get bogged down in details, yet clear enough to be implemented.

I would add a re-factoring of the clearly broken political and economic systems to address the problems we have been witnessing. Debt based money must end,. new monetary system to replace it is needed, one with out the built in taxes/skimming,. these banksters get endless free money from the compounded interest on debt created without the money to pay it back,. (imagine; being allowed to lend money YOU DO NOT HAVE to others,. collecting interests for doing this!)

This is an endless feedback loop that spirals wealth from the many to the few. It must be broken before we can even try for anything like a real democracy,. . and being called to vote once every 4 years is not a democracy. In this day and age, we could actually have open public debate and public voting on issues,. these things are possible. We no longer need to hand over decision making to a few professional liars,. our voices can now be heard.
