1. In the first place, Planned Parenthood's sex education curriculum DOES say that

abstinence IS effective. However, PP's sex ed puts it in the context of a larger picture. So it is a lie that PLanned Parenthood doesn't acknowledge the role that abstinence can play.

When I worked for the then Planned Parenthood of CT (now PP of Southern New England) we presented sex ed for kids that included ALL options. We talked about values that parents had for their kids and how sex ed could reflect those values. We had lots of very interested parents who were truly interested in the best for their children.
