"Boom goes the dynamite!"

Don't think for one minute that Warren can't hold her own. They will underestimate her at their own peril.

Talk about passion and fire! Been waiting for this from somebody!

1. It sort of amazes me that for 30 years the Dems have failed to make this argument.

26. Ain't that the truth.
No one has benefited more from "America" than the corporations. Yet they have betrayed the interests of the American citizen. It is way past time to make this argument. It should be made every time a "Democrat" is in front of a camera. If they do not make this argument they do not represent our interests.

41. One day it will stop amazing you if you come to believe that the point you made is not by accident.
The elite have done a very good job of co-opting the People's Party over the past 30 years.

It's an easy argument to make isn't it?

I wonder why a large majority of our elected officials never seem to be able to argue as effectively for progressive policies as their unelected base?!?!

Hmmmm..........

I don't believe our elected officials are stupid or ignorant on our points of view. They tend to campaign brilliantly on them.

15. I addressed the Senate because...
...she is running for the Senate.

As for the oval office, somebody is going to have to be the first woman president. She would be a good one. At 56 I do believe that I'll live to see a woman president.

PEACE!

It's just that so much gets lost in the Senate.

19. You haven't seen her under attack by Republicans. No Dem
I've seen has held their own AND trashed nasty Republicans, with grace and facts, the way she has.

Well, other Alan Grayson, who is beyond compare on the floor of Congress when up against Republicans.

21. Although they deserve it, you won't be an effective senator if you trash Republicans.
And Alan Grayson lost his reelection.

22. Alan Grayson lost because he was targeted with billions of dollars exactly
because he was so effective on the floor of Congress decimating Republican lies. And because the leadership of the party did not back him. Which is why we have to change all that. No Republican liar will get away with lying to the public if we have hundreds opf Alan Graysons to stop them. What we have now is a bunch of wimps in control. Miss Manners doesn't work in politics. Look at this country and tell me we don't more of Alan Grayson, and less of those who 'compromise' away our rights and everything else.

He will win again, politicians often lose an election here and there, but that never stops the good ones, or even the bad ones sadly.

And you won't win elections by letting the liars lie, and the bullies make you squirm either.

Elizabeth Warren has been fiercely attacked in Congress by vicious Republicans trying to stop her from being nominated to the position she created. She handled them magnificently, they could not shake her. Their attacks were so nasty even members of their own party were embarrassed by them. But they sure did not want her watching what their buddies on Wall St. are up to.

And only the truth. It is just too bad Republicans wallow in their trash. They are wrong and disingenuous on every single issue.

4. She will shred any Republican trying to debate her
using nothing more than plain old common sense and compassion...

Two qualities that are hard to find in today's political climate!

Any politician opposing her had better start checking the "Dog Catcher Wanted" ads.

She would represent me anyway, as an American senator. Hooray for her, for the courage and commitment to follow this call to run. Hope she doesn't allow the Blue Dog elements to water her down.

13. As bad the political climate is...
....honesty and fervor actually DO help you get votes. I generally find so-called "middle of the road" voters annoying, but you actually can sway some of them by simply being (or SEEMING to be) legitimately behind your positions.

You see, Democrats? Stop putting on hunting vests and pretending you praise JaysusasLord every morning. Everybody knows you don't, and it sounds/looks like crap when you act like you do.

AND WOW! This should be a spoken out loud pledge/creed/motto/battle cry by every Democratic candidate from the very first day they dip their toes in the waters of politics. Every day. I'd like to hear Mary Landrieu repeat this. Yeah right. You can reach her at that motel room she shares with Ben Nelson and David Vitter. More Pampers please.
