Will the people wake up and effect change, or has that window of opportunity already been closed?

1. Remember - it's not "disobedience" if you don't break the law.

A few years ago James Hansen called for civil disobedience - and some here claimed he couldn't have possibly said that - even though he did.
Since then he has been arrested several times at fossil fuel protests.

2. Yep, sometimes you got to get your hands dirty to make your voice heard.

There's no shame in getting arrested for a good cause.

3. Jealousy

Can cause you to say anything. One of the points he tries to make is that the Obama administration has Wall Street Guys in his Cabinet. So of course, the President is all for Wall Street and not the common folk. Using his logic, let's send Mike Tyson over to Iran to free the hikers.

The same Cornel West who was pissed that a Bell Hop "guy who picks up my bags" had an inauguration ticket while he didn't. Not being able to attend with this mother & brother. He stated "this is very strange" Talk about class warfare...STFU!!!

5. Nothing

You have said nothing that discounts Dr West's view on the Obama administration and you seem shorter on facts that you are on ad hominem's against the learned doctor. Dr West does not have to prove his credentials to progressives; has been walking, and marching, and speaking for and with us for decades.

Geitner and Summers were the wrong choice. Progressives knew it then and they know it now and nothing you have said contradicts this either.

Your syllogism is also a failure. There are economists not captured by Wallstreet banks that were more than capable of serving to help rein in Wallstreet. Dr West mentioned a few names as well and there were dozens more that could have served quite well in that capacity.
