2. This country deserves better.

The police that obey the orders of the powers that be to deny citizens the right of free assembly and redress of grievances is not why the Revolutionary War was fought, and is NOT worth defending now. Throw in some police brutality and general obtuseness and you have a perfect recipe for large scale civil unrest brewing dangerously close to boil...

It would be far better to reform a new nation than to live in one so broken and divorced from its founding principles in the name of greed, money and power. If this is the way the police intend to respond, then I hope they like being viewed as lower pond scum than even Congress in public opinion outside of bloodlusting, racist teabagger 'morans'...

5. I don't get it. Why the abuse? Don't we have a right to peacefully protest?

6. The noise and confusion probably made WS nervous.
That constant reminder makes people uncomfortable...particularly when they are making money and everyone else is not. No one likes to be reminded they are sinning when they are sinning. Just sayin'.

8. Try something new
Get as many hundreds of people as possible that are willing to
be arrested. Have them, in mass, turn themselves in at a
selected police station. Tell the police to arrest them there
and save the cost and hassle of doing it in the street. Tell
the police they are planning to protest in the streets using
their first amendment rights of free assembly to redress
government grievances and know they will be arrested anyway.

9. NY's finest at their best. Working for Wall St.
So stupid of them to do this. This will be seen all over the world and the protesters will now have even more support.

Why don't we just drop the pretense that this is some kind of free country?

So disturbing to see that video. Thank you for posting it.
