While Obama is trying to find ways to fix the US economy, there is a growing gap between the haves and have-nots. Hundreds of Americans turned up recently in New York to protest Wall Street greed. Some predict that this could be the beginning America's own Arab Spring. David Degraw, author and journalist, shares his own opinion with RT's Kristine Frazao.

But I still have a tough time with taking RT at face value.

I would need to see exactly how the channel chooses content and to what extent the Russian government influences their programming.

.... which American news outlets present coverage of these topics. Balance that against this coverage and the fact that RT also carreis Thom Hartmann's show as well. Maybe RT's hope is that news that's truly fresh and different could gain an audience share and the consequent ad revenue that would bring.
