In spite of 30 years of vitriolic republican propaganda, people are finally waking up to just how good a president Jimmy Carter was (and how bad Ronald Reagan really was). I'm just glad he's lived to see it.

I'm looking forward to the rest. I've always loved Jimmy Carter. He's a good man, and I believe he was a good president. But again, the GOP did everything in their power to tarnish his presidency. They do it with every Democratic president, in case people hadn't noticed. I wish someone would set the record straight on his presidency.

Mrs. Carter's first name was pronounced "Rose a lyn", not "Roz a lyn".

Dr. Maddow, it would seem with all the due diligence you apply to every story you cover that that little thing would not have escaped you, but alas! it did.

14. It's interesting that he said he hopes that Romney gets the GOP nomination.

I wonder if that's because he believes that Romney would be more likely to lose to Obama, or is it because he thinks that if a Republican does beat Obama it would be better to have it be Romney than some kook like Perry or Bachmann.
