The national debt is not more important than saving lives.

1. Ask Ron Paul's former campaign managers family....
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2037330/Ron-Pauls-campaign-manager-died-pneumonia-afford-health-insurance.html

Ron Paul's former campaign manager died from complications caused by pneumonia because he couldn't afford health insurance, it has emerged.

The details surrounding the 2008 death of Kent Snyder were revealed hours after the Tea Party candidate indicated he did not agree with free state health care for the poor.

Mr Snyder, 49, died on June 26, 2008, with hospital costs totalling $400,000 after he became ill with viral pneumonia.

The bill for his care was sent to his mother, who was unable to pay, and so a website was set up by friends to secure donations. Mr Paul's election campaign did not provide workers with medical insurance.

At the time, Mr Snyder's sister was quoted in the Kansas City Star as saying that a 'pre-existing condition made the premiums too expensive' for the campaign manager.

It comes after Mr Paul, a physician and opponent of federal healthcare, appeared to suggest people who fell ill should be left to fend for themselves, even if they don't have health care, during a Tea Party debate.

Simply amazing and Ron Paul can't say he didn't know........

2. Libertarianism = social darwinism= fascism
The key to mobilizing mobilizing popular support for corporate fascism is mob psychology. The shouts from the crowd in response to the let him die question are an inherent feature of mob pscyhology where the mass id manifests its primeival ugliness.

This is what Bernays' and the Madison Avenue types in the campaign advisory, public relations and war propaganda business know so well how to manipulate. Because mob psychology is a well understood natural phenomenon, manipulation of it by politicians is rather simple. Mass psychology doesn't differ from the irrationality of a lynch mob. But not so simple that Americanus ignoramus recognizes that he or she is acting like an animal rather than a civilized human being.

The greatest irony is that elected representatives in a republic designed to protect minorities (such as wealthy elites) from the dangers of mob rule, so casually mobilize and encourage mob rule. This portends a doomsday to the form of government designed to preserve order via peaceful transitions of power.

3. We are turning into a culture of hate. Hang on to your
compassion. You are young and the only hope left for this country.
I'm ashamed of the generation I was born into.

4. Now We Know Where Nazis Come From
Some (many?) people have no sense of the sanctity of human life. These are the cruel, heartless people who torture, kill and have no empathy for other's difficulties.

5. A Nazi by any other name...
I'm waiting for the tea party meetings and debates to see
everyone dressed in brown shirts.
Hearing the acclaim of the crowd when the "Let 'em
Die" subject passed thru the audience let's all of us
realize what happens when people shed their own self-dignity.
To hear so many of them talk about the ideal system where
there is no insurance and everyone has some massive medical
savings account and all that garbage. There are nearly 200
countries on this planet. Which one are they holding up as an
example to how our country should be set up? Virtually every
other industrialized nation has some kind of national health
care system, and our system costs almost twice as much per
capita (>$6K) as the next highest ($3.4K). Just from the
viewpoint of cold efficiency, a universal system is cheaper
per capita.
The Tea Party is making a joke of our national motto "E
Pluribus Unum" (Out of Many, One). They should call it
"Your Problem is not My Problem".
