There should be massive and OVERWHELMING support for Bernie's bill. Start calling your senator today. call 'em again tomorrow and the next day. This would enjoy a 70%+ public support.

9. I'm delighted - and a little surprised - that Claire McCaskill is signing on to this!

I've been mostly disappointed in Sen McCaskill. Her reply to an email I sent her office earlier this year indicated she was willing to put social Security "on the table" for the deficit fight. If this is a turnaround, it's a welcome one!

I'm much more likely to actively support her in 2012 now!
