1. System is broken
I agree that Obama has been a let down on many fronts. But because our system is broken we have to go to war with the system that we have currently. Why support Obama? Look at Wisconsin and see what happens when you don't support the party's candidate. Just imagine a SCOTUS with a 7-2 conservative balance. That will happen if Obama loses in 2012. That nightmare in itself should get you to hold your nose and vote for Obama. That's what I will be doing.

BTW: I love your enthusiasm and political involvement!!

2. I may disagree with you...
...(the Supreme Court is conservative ANYWAYS, and President Obama will ONLY appoint center-right conservatives to it), but thank you for your kind comment and support!

3. Sonia Sotomayor is right wing?
You are as clueless as a repuke and like a repuke you question anything that doesn't complete agree with your naive view of the world; you have a lot of growing up to do.

6. YOU have a lot of growing up to do...
...not only is Sonia Sotomayor NOT that left-wing (I would consider her a moderate centrist, actual left-wingers are like me), your personal ad hominem attacks upon me only hold your insults up like a mirror to YOU.

10. All-righty then...
...let me explain it to you in a way that even you can understand:
The political system of the World is divided up into 4 major groups: Anarchists, Authoritarians, Left-Wing, and Right-Wing.
"Libertarians" in this nation are closer to Anarchism.
"Conservatives" in this nation are closer to Authoritarianism/Right-Wing.
"Moderate/Centrists" in this nation lean towards the Right-Wing.
"Liberals" in this nation lean towards the Center/Right-Wing.
"Socialists", "Communists" and "Marxists" in this nation occupy a range from the center-left to the far-left of this political spectrum (ACTUAL Left-Wing).

Sonia Sotomayor, Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, Joe Biden, and most Democrats under this system would be classified as Right-Wing (center-right). They can also be defined as "liberal", too, because the word "liberal" and its definition, is VERY ambiguous, with lots of people from all over the political spectrum claiming they or their opponents are "liberal".

In America the political system is REALLY skewed out, with "Liberals" perceived as left-wing, "Conservatives" perceived as moderate/right-wing, and "Moderates/Centrists" being perceived as being exactly in the middle.

But I guess your simplistic view of the world works for you. So, "Uh. Yeah. Whatever you say."

9. The Republicans were dedicated to destroy Obama.
They have been obstructionists to the point that they verge on being traitorous in being willing to destroy the Republic to achieve their goals. Increasingly, I read on this board that they are being joined in their effort by so-called loyal Democrats. Has he been able to achieve everything that he needs to? No, but really what can he do when he is blocked by a Congress that is dominated by Republicans and DINOs? The DINOs are a major problem and if Democrats wanted results perhaps the should look at candidates that actually support the Democrats' platform instead of these charlatans that play both sides of the aisle to stay in office. I will agree that he at times was naive in his belief in bipartisanship, but I also am concerned what appears to be Democrats frustration with the situation that has been created by the Republican's' determination to destroy him at any cost by abandoning him. If this results in his loss in 2012 it could be catastrophic for our nation. If anyone thinks that he should be challenged in a primary think what signal that would send to the voters. Nothing could make the Republicans happier. Even if you think that Obama has been a miserable failure I can only shudder when I contemplate a Perry or Backmann in the White House with a super majority in both Houses. They will successfully destroy the New Deal policies that created a Middle Class including Social Security. I would encourage Democrats to consider the consequences.

12. You have valid points, but guess what?
President Obama is destroying the New Deal ANYWAYS.
We are being given just TWO choices without a progressive primary challenger:
Slow corporate fascism (Obama, Romney, and Huntsman), or quick corporate fascism (Palin, Perry, and Bachmann).

In the end, it doesn't really matter, except that with President Obama, the end might be delayed a bit more.

11. Vote for Obama if you wish...
...but you cannot deny that I speak the truth. President Obama is a Republican pretending to be a Democrat, only a fool doesn't see it.

13. If all the independents that elected Obama and a majority congress in 2008
had stuck to their guns and VOTED A STRAIGHT DEMOCRATIC TICKET in 2010 you would not be crying now Weird Liberal Head (even your screen name is discouraging to the cause).

14. How immature are you?
Independents CAN'T stick to their guns because they don't BELIEVE in anything, and MY name is discouraging to the cause? Awww, yeah, it might cost us control of the Senate/White House, just like unintelligent "progressives" who attack their own. ;)
