evolution = change in gene frequency over time aka sex shuffles the deck over generations

5. With the GOP/TEA/Christo-fascist hatred of science and demeaning evolution as "just a theory"...
it is of the utmost importance that "science" be mentioned repeatedly. Otherwise it's "Scopes Monkey Trial" all over again.

If our youth were taught science in school and the fact that "yes- individuals don't evolve- so no- you didn't evolve from apes... but, species do" that would be the end of their specious argument.
