1. Cliff-Notes are so nice for dial-up users to determine
if they want to spend a great deal of time downloading these videos

5. "Rumsfield's lies caused my husband to join the military"?
I'm sure there was much more than that. If you don't know what you're enlisting for DON'T. I'm sure the unexamined "we're the greatest nation on earth" BS these peer pressured youth buy into was the main reason. This country has not been involved in a morally legitimate conflict since WWII. I would think before signing up for possible death and maiming someone might want to get some advice beyond that of some asshole politician that never served. I would say do not get involved in the military for any reason. No country is worth the sacrifice. I am not the least grateful for anyone serving. I did not serve in Vietnam and I'm damn glad and damn proud of it. If you enlist for this bullshit it means you expect civilians to send you into conflict for whatever their stupid reasons may be. Is that something these people didn't understand? Did they not understand that politicians don't always tell the truth? Hey young people STAY OUT OF THE MILITARY! If we're attacked (on our soil) I'll sign up, otherwise HELL NO.
