Senator Joe Lieberman (I-CT) is arguing that entitlement programs like Social Security and Medicare need to be cut so that the U.S. can continue spending massive amounts of money on 'defense (aka wars in Iraq and Afghanistan).

I'd like to chime in on Lieberman's spending priorities and suggest that he strap on a gun and go to Afghanistan-Pakistan-Iraq-Libya-Somalia-wherever the hell we're warmongering. If he thinks it's so important to maintain our ridiculous levels of military spending in lieu of Social Security, Medicare and other programs, then Lieberman should put his money where his mouth is.

I also like the suggestion to cut our foreign aid to Israel if he thinks it's so important to keep dumping money into the MIC money pit.
