1. Remote communities are the perfect platforms for renewable
energies.

Alaska could be a leader for this but I am not sure why there is such a lag in implementing them. Fuel is outrageous in these places and wind/solar power seems like a perfect way to unburden them from the cost.

2. Existing infrastructure -
there are already engines, etc, which run on generators, cars etc.

4. Some but not all.
Little diesel gen sets are what most run, easy enough to swap them over. Some villages have already done this with amazing savings. Not too many cars in some places either, four wheelers and snow machines are the preferred choice of transportation.

And of course they can't change anything in Alaska. Especially since Oil Companies own the state.

8. good to see some progressive info.
small steps, however we gotta start somewhere,. remote locations are an easy sell for these types of setups,. however you can set them up in a city if you do not want to support "the grid" with its nukes and coal burning.., and save yourself paying them to pollute your air/water.


Permaculture is the only way humanity can survive the end of oil.
