Even Elisabeth Hasselhack joins in the criticism, going so far as to speculate (2:06 mark) that this issue could sink Rep. Batshit's candidacy for POTUS.

(The original title of this vid was---I strongly suspect---deliberately sarcastic. I altered it to eliminate any possible confusion as to its content.)

1. Majority of us in MN can't stand Bachman and wish she would just go away.
In Minnesota, many know Michele Bachman is history illiterate but by signing the Iowa "Marriage Vow" document is just another example of her racism and misogyny behavior by supporting such a document and her belief that most whites share her views as well. It is typical of so many fundamentalist groups who try to use hate to protect them from what they fear. These hateful ignorant (so called) Christian groups who like to deny the horrific crimes and inhumane abuse done to other human beings do not reflect any where near a majority of Americans.

These arrogant and ignorant Americans might take a trip down to the Abraham Lincoln History Center in Ilinois and go through the exhibits and see what life was like for a person born in slavery and how the young women where often "breed" with the owner, or the owner's son, or the foreman, or a specific slave. What percent of slave mothers had their baby ripped from their arms and sold, and what percentage where able to find their child again after they gained their freedom, before or after the Civil War. Thousands of them tried to reunite with their children or their children would try to find them even though they had been sold 100's of miles away.

Yes, we know Bachman doesn't know history nor does she care, but in MInnesota we know what a hateful person she is too, and America is also finding this out.

She disgusts me as a white person, as a women, as a christian, as MN and as an American.

What part of Minnesota is it in? (Google and Yahoo are slower than molasses tonight, at least where I am.)

2. K & R
I hope the reason why this post hasn't gotten the prerequisite 5 recs is because it's late at night. I tried, but it's still at 4. A little help, please?

5. I'm really sick of hypocrites who want to dictate to the rest of us
Bachmann wants to wean everyone off ss and medicare yet her husband who runs a 'christian' clinic has taken more than 137,000 in medicare payments. Not to mention her family farm has received 260,000 in farm subsidies.

7. I think they're best off when there is an extended family
whether it's blood relatives or adult friends. Single parent or not. Kids do best with many adult role models & mentors.
