1. Keith...Bernie....
Neither of you would be puzzled if you'd just grasp the fact that Obama's not fighting against this because he WANTS it to happen.

Like Bill Clinton, Obama's a neo-liberal, which is Republican Lite. Clinton is proud of destroying the welfare safety net, and he wanted to decimate Social Security and Medicare back in the day. Obama's just trying to finish his work.

Once you understand that, Obama's actions (or inaction) makes perfect sense.

3. I sure wish Bernie would run against Obama '12, with either
Elizabeth Warren or Alan Grayson as VP.

11. Loyalty to the president isn't something I find admirable.
I'd much prefer that the president actually earned our respect, which he hasn't.

19. Dream ticket, we'd never win, but just imagine the real
change that there would be!

I sometimes wonder if a Bernie could win if he had the financial backing that the Republicans do. He just makes so much sense, I'd think he'd appeal to everyone across the board.

But the Kochs, et al, aren't going to be supporting Bernie, Warren, Grayson or any of the others. What a country we've become.

9. Maybe he is not relenting to GOP demands, but rather is in agreement with them,
and is just searching for the least politically damaging path towards making those demands a reality.
